Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate the jamming of cores by making the lower side of a hopper face the cutting off aperture of the bottom plate in which cylindrical cores are piled up and stored, as a free end and swayable up and down, and breaking a bridging condition of cores from each other. CONSTITUTION:The bottom of a hopper 11, in which cores 5 are piled up in parallel and stored, are composed of an inclined bottom plate 14 and a cutting- off aperature 15, and the cores 5 put out of the cutting-off aperature 15, which is made in a shape allowing the passage of only a single core 5, are delivered to a conveyer 19 one by one by a feeding device 7 through a transfer route 20. The upper end of the slope of the bottom plate 14 is supported by a shaft 16, the bottom plate 14 is connected to a cylinder 18 through a link 17 extended out of a hopper, and swayed up and down around the supporting axis of the shaft 16 by the drive of the cylinder 18. As a result, even though cores 5 are mutually made in a bridging condition at the cutting-off aperature 15, the swaying of the bottom plate breaks the bridging condition, jamming at the cutting-off aperature 15 is prevented, and the hopper device 10 can be made to have a high storing rate.
