  • Adjustment Of The Magnetic Head Position Track Following On Tapes (AREA)

Abstract

PURPOSE:To keep the period of a vertical synchronizing signal in a reproducing signal constant and to remove vertical shaking and skew, etc., in a television receiver, by separating the positions of two heads by 180 deg. accurately used in reproduction by performing positioning control in the longitudinal direction of a tape. CONSTITUTION:By permitting a control current to flow on a cylindrical coil 42, magnetic flux is generated in the coil 42, and the coil 42 is displaced horizontally by a mutual function between a permanent magnet 43. Accordingly, a flat spring 41 is deformed, and the head 5 is displaced in the longitudinal direction of the tape 13. In such a case, two double azimuth heads are loaded on two driving parts 4a by confronting them with each other, and confronting heads are set in a reverse azimuth and adjacent heads are set in the reverse azimuth. In such a way, it is possible to keep the position of the head to be used at angle of 180 deg., and to prevent the period of the vertical synchronizing signal in the reproducing signal from being changed at every period, and to remove the vertical shaking or skew, etc., in the television receiver.
