Abstract

CONSTITUTION:The titled system is provided with an inference history control means 2 accumulates the results of inference obtained by the expert system based on a production rule into a history file 5 as the inference histories for offering a means for acquiring knowledge by expert system itself, a mode calculation means 3 obtains the key value out of those descriptions of conclusions belonging to the same category based on the inference histories stored in the file 5, a rule production means 4 produces a processing procedure (rule) from the description of conclusion replaced by the means 3 and registers the produced rule into a knowledge base KB9. Thus a knowledge erector KE systematizes the knowledges acquired by an expert from users and can erect again the KB9. In such a case, this knowledge acquiring system is used as a back-up means.
