Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the outside diameter and weight and provide the high speed slidability and abrasion resistance for a rotation suppressing mechanism by forming a swirl scroll from aluminum alloy applied with positive electrode oxidation film, Oldham's ring from aluminum alloy applied with nonelectrolytic Ni plating film, and by forming a frame from casted iron. CONSTITUTION:The peripheral part of an Oldham's ring 4 is contact-nipped by the flat surface part on the shoulder surface of a swirl scroll 3 and the flat surface pat of a frame 5, and back pressure chamber 14 is sealed. The swirl scroll 3 is made of aluminum alloy applied with the positive electrode oxidation film, and the Oldham's ring 4 is made of aluminum alloy applied with nonelectrolytic Ni plating film, and the frame 5 is made of casted iron. The surface hardness of these materials is in the order of larger value of Oldham's ring 4, swirl scroll 3, and the frame 5. Therefore, the outside diameter and weight can be reduced, the sliding characteristic and the abrasion resistance of a rotation suppressing mechanism can be improved.
