Abstract
PURPOSE:To solidify the ground by a method in which bar electrodes are set on both sides of a perforated injection tube row penetrated into the ground, and a grout is injected into the tubes while applying DC voltage between the electrodes. CONSTITUTION:Perforated injection tubes 3 are penetrated at an interval corresponding to the quality of soil in the soft ground, and bar steel electrodes 1 and 2 are set on both sides of the tubes 3. DC voltage is then applied from a power source E to the electrode 1 as anode and the electrode 2 as cathode. A mixture of sodium silicate solution and calcium chloride solution is then injected into each effective injection tube 3. Since the effective injection tube 3 after the completion of injection can be removed while applying the voltage to the electrodes, the construction work can be effectively attained.
