Abstract
NEW MATERIAL:The compound of formula I (R1 is H or lower alkyl; R2 is lower alkyl which may be substituted with phenyl or aryl which may be substituted with lower alkyl, alkoxy, halogen, etc.; the wavy line represents the R or S configuration or their mixture). EXAMPLE:( + )-5(Z)-7-[( 1R, 2S, 3S, 5S )-2-benzenesulfonamido-6,6-dimethylbicyclo [3,1,1]hept-3-yl]-5-heptenoic acid methyl ester. USE:It can be used for the remedy and amelioration of symptoms caused by thromboxane and is useful as an antithrombotic agent, anticonstriction agent for blood vessel, anticonstriction agent for trachea, etc. PREPARATION:The compound of formula I can be produced by reacting a compound of formula II (R1' is lower alkyl) with a compound of formula Hal-SO2-R2 (Hal is halogen) and, as necessary, subjecting the reaction product to hydrolysis and/or salt-forming reaction.
