Abstract

PURPOSE:To use the titled facsimile equipment with carrying by providing a radio transmission/reception section in a facsimile equipment integrally. CONSTITUTION:A handy facsimile equipment 1 consists of a facsimile function section 5 and a radio transmission/reception section 6. A picture signal read by a scanning section 10 is compressed by a coding/decoding section 9 and converted into a modulation/demodulation section 8. The converted signal is formed into a high frequency signal by a transmission section 17, radiated from an antenna 3 and connected to a general wired telephone via a basic station of the mobile communication service. The high frequency signal from the base station received by the antenna 3 is converted into a picture signal through a reception section 18, a modulation/demodulation section 8 and a coding/decoding section 9 and printed out as picture information by a recording section 11. Since the radio transmission/reception section 6 is provided integrally in the facsimile equipment 1, the small size and light weight are attained and carrying is facilitated.
