Abstract
PURPOSE: To control coal output regardless of the flow rate of the primary air to be introduced into a mill by controlling the number of revolutions of a classifier. CONSTITUTION: A pulverized coal adjusting device 16 having the rotary type classifier 20 is disposed in the pulverized coal leading-out part of the ball mill and the pulverized coal is so adjusted as to be decreased in the coal output by increasing the number of revolutions of the classifier 20 in the state of supplying the min. required amt. of the primary air to the mill in the event of a decrease of mill load. Namely, the pulverized coal may be adjusted in the coal output regardless of the flow rate of the primary air to be introduced into the mill by controlling the number of revolutions of the classifier 20, by which the supply of the min. required amt. of the primary air in the event of the decrease of the mill load is made possible and, therefore, the occurrence of such a problem that temp. in the mill is abnormally elevated and the clogging of the pulverized coal leading-out part of the mill is induced by the accumulation of the pulverized coal therein is prevented.
