Abstract

The slit 2a at one end of the tube 2 and the slit 3a of the chuck 3 are corresponded at this time. The optical fiber is thereby surely pressed and grasped without flawing the surface thereof. The holding of the optical fiber consisting of a metal-corrosive material such as AgCl is possible as well.
