Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the operability of measurement and the visibility of a measured value display by employing such a rotary structure that pressing is possible with a finger pad part for a measurement part where a sample such as the green leaf of a plant is clipped, and providing a measurement display part contiguously to the rotary part. CONSTITUTION:The measurement part 1 consists of a light emission part and a light reception part, a main body 12 is provided with a movable arm part 2, and the measured value display part 10 is provided nearby the movable arm part 2. When a measurement is taken, the sample, e.g. the leaf of the plant is set between the substrate part 4 of the measurement part 1 and the movable arm part 2 which is open at a nonmeasurement time. Then the finger part 11 of the movable arm part 2 is pressed with a thumb to clip the sample between the substrate part 4 and arm part 2. Then light which is outputted by the light emission part of the measurement part 1 and transmitted through the sample is detected by the reception part and processed by an arithmetic part, whose arithmetic result is displayed on a display part 10.
