Abstract
PURPOSE:To get rid of a tight corner braking phenomenon at the time of four- wheel driving and enable the combination with an ABS by providing a brake means for braking the rotation of an interlocking member on a fixing side and a cam means for moving a slide clutch to a linking direction. CONSTITUTION:When an operating means 47 is not operated while an interlocking member 55 is retractingly moved in the linking direction of a slide clutch 39, as a differential clutch 9 receive a rotation input, the slide clutch 39 is relatively rotated so as to cause delay in rotation to the differential case 9 via the interlocking member 55 which braked in its rotation on the fixed side. Hence, cam means 45A, B are operated and the slide clutch 39 is moved linking the differential case 9 to a drive ring 21 to automatically carry out the transmission of rotation. When the rotation of the drive ring 21 precedes the rotation of the differential case 9, the action of the cam means 45A, B does not take place while at the same time the slide clutch 39 is retractingly moved in the connecting direction by means of return springs 43, to automatically cut off power.
