Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent a sheet from curling after heat transfer by a method wherein the thickness and content of filler are made the largest at a front layer and made smaller at a base material layer and a rear layer in the order named. CONSTITUTION:In a laminated resin sheet having the structure of three layers or of a base material layer B, which is made of biaxially stretched film and pinched between a front layer A and a rear layer C, both made of uniaxially stretched film, the thickness and content of filler are made the largest at the front layer A and made smaller at the base material layer B and a rear layer C in the order named. The content of filler at the front layer A is in the range of 30-80wt.%, that at the base material layer B is in the range of 10-45wt.% and that at the rear layer C is in the range of 5-30wt.%. The thickness of the front layer A interms of the thickness of the base material layer B is made to be 1.1 or more, and that of the rear layer C is made to be 0.9 or less. The thickness of the front layer is made thicker than that of the base material layer so as to make the effect of heat conduction to the base material layer smaller in order to prevent curling from developing. The content of fine inorganic powder in the front layer is larger than that in the base material layer so as to increase the generation of microvoid in order to improve the adherence of the sheet to a thermal head and consequently obtain fine images.
