Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform distortion correction corresponding correctly to the change of an ambient temperature, by providing a temperature sensor and a comparator in the neighborhood of a power amplifier that is a heat generating source, and selecting the content of a ROM in a pre-distortion attaching circuit by the output of the comparator. CONSTITUTION:An ambient temperature signal generation means 4 is constituted of the temperature sensor 41 and the comparator 42, and the sensor 41 is arranged in the neighborhood of the power amplifier 32 that is the heat generating source, and detects the ambient temperature and inputs the output S to the comparator 42. The comparator 42 inputs the output S of the sensor 41, and compares it with a reference temperature value R, and outputs a detection signal C. The signal C is inputted to the pre-distortion attaching circuit 1, and performs appropriate compensation on the signals I-ch and Q-ch of two group transmission signal input that are the input of the circuit 1 by switching correction data classified by every ambient temperature in ROMs 11 and 12 in the circuit 1. Therefore, the circuit 1 always corrects non-linear distortion generated by a modulator 2 or a frequency conversion/power amplifier 3 correctly and outputs the signal without the non-linear distortion by the amplifier 32 even when the ambient temperature changes.
