Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily execute a non-interlace action by holding two transfer parts perpendicular to a one-column photosensing part, transferring simultaneously the respective fields of the odd number line and the even number line of signal charges and executing the accumulation of the signal charge. CONSTITUTION:The titled element is constituted of a photosensing part 11, an odd number field vertical transfer part 21, an even number field vertical transfer, part 22, a vertical transference switching part 23 and a horizontal transfer part 13. In accordance with incident light, the signal charge of the photosensing part 11 is moved to a vertical blanking period at a 1/30 second period and at the same time, the charges of the odd number line and the even number line are respectively moved to the transfer parts 21 and 22. The signal charges of lines alternately selected by the switching part 23 of these respective signal charges are sent to the transfer part 13. The signal charges are serially read out in one horizontal scanning period and are made into a one-frame video signal. For this reason, a vertical resolution is improved and further, even when a transference from the photosensing part to the vertical transfer part is executed every 1/30 seconds, after-images do not increase.
