<Prior Art> When asphalt pavement is repaired, the repaired surface is usually heated and softened using a heating device and then regenerated and repaired. A conventional example of such a heating device is one that heats the asphalt pavement by a heating device attached to the lower part of a vehicle that runs on the asphalt pavement.

However, in such conventional heating devices, a heater with a constant width in the vehicle width direction is attached to the bottom of the vehicle, so no matter how much the heater capacity is improved, the road surface width that requires heating is If it is narrower than the width of the road surface, it may be impossible to heat things outside the road surface or due to obstacles such as guardrails, and conversely, if the road surface width is too wide, the heating device may not be able to run through the entire road. After that, the remaining portion had to be heated again, and in this case, it was difficult to uniformly heat the asphalt pavement.

Also, Utility Application No. 56-151765 (Utility Application No. 58-59811)
As disclosed in No. 1), there are some systems in which side heaters are attached to both sides of the heater body according to the width of the road surface. However, in this case, the extension must be removed in order to transport the heating device within the transport limits of the Road Traffic Act (width < 2.5m length < 12m), and these installation and removal tasks require a lot of work. This required a lot of effort and time, leading to a decrease in work efficiency.

At construction sites, front and rear heaters A,
B is positioned horizontally, and the side heaters are made to protrude from the box-shaped main body 14 to the sides of the vehicle, and each of the heaters A, B, and C has a predetermined width depending on the road surface to be repaired.
Thereafter, fuel and air are supplied to the burners 15 and 21 to ignite them and adjust the flame intensity. Next, the heating device is run at a predetermined speed to heat and soften the asphalt pavement surface.

As described above, according to the present embodiment, by operating the operation panel 24, the road surface can be heated and softened according to the width of the repaired road surface, and this work can be performed efficiently in a short time. Furthermore, since the side heater main body 20 is housed within the box-shaped main body 14, the overall heater can be made more compact. Furthermore, since the heaters including the heater 13 and the side heater main body 20 are arranged at a predetermined distance from the rear, center, and rear of the vehicle, the front heater A The heated asphalt pavement is only slightly cooled on its surface immediately after the front heater A has passed. After the asphalt pavement is reheated by the intermediate heater C, only the surface thereof is slightly cooled, and then further heated by the post-heater B.
