Abstract
PURPOSE: To easily transfer a crane between upper and lower parts by fixing the crane on a running path divided into the upper or lower parts and moving the crane to the upper or lower part together with the running path to join upper and lower paths to one path. CONSTITUTION: A crane 10 moves forward and backward in the direction of arrow mark A along running rails 18 and 20 on a lower running path 12. The crane 10 is transferred to the center of the running path 20 and is moved in the direction of arrow mark B on a running rail 24 together with a traveling running path 16 by four wheels 22 on a lower side of the traveling running path 16. The crane 10 is stopped just below an upper running path 44. The traveling running path 16 is lifted by a bracket 36, pulleys 38, 40, and a rope 42, and running rails 22 and 44 are joined in one straight line so that the crane 10 can move on the rail 44. The reverse procedures are taken to transfer the crane 10 from an upper step to a lower step. Consequently, the crane 10 can be transferred on the running path having a difference in steps easily without disassembling the crane.
