Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent two-side printing on double fed cut sheets by actuating a selector when double feed is sensed, and by passing the cut sheets not to the two-side printing part but to a collecting stacker. CONSTITUTION:A control part 6 rotates a pick roller 2a to pay off the uppermost cut sheet PP in a hopper 2, and when a sensor 4a senses its leading edge, a stopper 2b is put in contact with the undersurface of the cut sheet PP to hinder double feed, and the sheet is forwarded to a two-side printing part 1 by a feed roller 2c. When a double feed sensor 4b senses double feed of cut sheets PP, a selector 3a is switched upward to lead double fed cut sheets PP to a collecting stacker 3. When a collection sensor 4c senses the trailing edge of collected sheets, the selector 3a and stopper 2b are restituted, and the feed roller 2c is stopped. Thus two-side printing on double fed cut sheets is prevented.
