Abstract

PURPOSE: To greatly relieve angle reading accuracy while maintaining a scanning density by constituting a scanning part in such a manner that the locus of the visual line by the scanning part draws a part of a circular conical face having said visual line as its generator when the scanning part is rotated around the axis of rotation thereof.
CONSTITUTION: The axis 2 of rotation of a scanning plane mirror 1 is disposed at about 45° angle with the spin axis 3 of a satellite and the mirror 1 is fixed to the axis 2. The axis 2 of the mirror 1 and the spectrum 4 of the plane mirror face are so disposed as to attain ≥5° angle. The locus of the visual line by the plane mirror 1 draws the circular conical circle having said visual line as its generator if the plane mirror 1 disposed in such a manner is rotated around the axis 2 thereof. The fineness in the angle reading is thus greatly relieved.
