Abstract
PURPOSE:To easily prepare a high-purity lower hydrocarbon without necessity of large-scale equipment, by repeatedly spraying a stock soln. of a liquefied lower hydrocarbon through the use of a spraying device comprising a plurality of containers each equipped with a siphon tube and connected to each other. CONSTITUTION:A stock soln. of a liquefied lower hydrocarbon is fed into an evaporator comprising containers each equipped with a siphon tube (e.g., siphon tubes 3a-3e; containers 1a-1e) and connected to each other, thereby purifying the lower hydrocarbon. In this case, the stock soln. is fed while spraying through a stock soln. inlet (e.g., spraying nozzle 11a) into the container 1a equipped with a siphon tube. The liquefied lower hydrocarbon thus formed is fed while spraying (11b) through the siphon tube 3a into another container equipped with a siphon (e.g., 1b). The impurities contained in the liquefied lower hydrocarbon are diffused in a gas phase within the containers each equipped with a siphon, thereby preparing a liquefied lower hydrocarbon having a high purity.
