Abstract

PURPOSE:To quantitatively measure a crosstalk from an adjoining track by superimposing a switching position displaying signal to display the switching position of two types of a video signal on an RF signal. CONSTITUTION:A PCM sound signal area in the internal circumferential part of a disk is constituted of a read-in part (a), a voice program part (b), and a read-out part (c), and an external circumferential part is constituted of a video program part (e), where a read-in part (d), the video signal and the PCM sound signal are simultaneously recorded and a read-out part (f). An index signal in synchronization with the rotation of a recorder is recorded to the part (f), the two color video signals out of the three types of the video signals are alternatively switched and recorded at every one rotation period, and difference frequencies are arranged at the adjoining tracks on the disk in an RF signal frequency band. Thus, the two types of the video signals are alternatively recorded, and at the time of reproduction in a still condition, a frequency level corresponding to a white, which is a crosstalk element from the adjoining tracks, is observed, and the crosstalk quantity can be measured.
