Abstract

PURPOSE:To decrease the system production mistakes compared with a conventional system by obtaining the information on the system production from a previous operating system for the constitution of installation and the definition of the working environment of a new operating system. CONSTITUTION:The constitution of system installation and the working environment which are used when a previous operating system is produced are registered into a previous system production information file 1. A system production parameter 2 is not needed in case no difference exists between production parameters of a new operating system 5 and the previous operating system. A system production information production program 3 produces a new system production information file 4 from the file 1 and the parameter 2. The file 4 is also used as the file 1 when a system is produced in response to the next version-up operation. A system production program 6 produces a final operating system 7 to the system 5.
