Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the title molding material giving a molded article having excellent surface hardness, comprising a specific polymer (a mixt.), poly(meth) acrylate and a filler. CONSTITUTION:A diallyl terephthalate copolymer (b) is obtd. by reacting dially terephthalate represented by formula I with an arom. hydrocarbon represented by formula II (where R<1> and R<2> are each H or lower alkyl; n is 1-3). 100pts.wt. mixt. of 60-95wt.% (A) dially phthalate polymer (a) and/or component (b) and 5-40wt.% (B) poly(meth)acrylate selected from poly(meth)acrylate of dipentaerythritol having 4 or more (meth)acryloyl groups in its molecule, poly(meth)acrylate of pentaerythritol having 3 or more (meth)acryloyl groups in its molecule, poly(meth)acrylate of sorbitol having 3 or more (meth)acryloyl groups in its molecule and tri(meth)acrylate represented by formula III [where x is 0-1; R<3> is H when x=0 and CH3 or C2H5 when x=1; R<4> is (meth)acryloyl] and 20-500pts.wt. filler are compounded.
