Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a recording paper from being caught by an ink ribbon, by providing a construction wherein an ink ribbon can be oscillated, and switching the inclination direction to the ink ribbon so that an end face of the ink ribbon in the direction of feeding-in of the recording paper is moved away from a platen member. CONSTITUTION:When a magnetic card 19 is inserted into an inserting port 16, whereas a ribbon-feeding shaft 13 is driven and a feeding roller 1 is rotated in a direction E by a motor 7, feeding of an ink ribbon 12 is started, and the magnetic card 19 is fed by the feeding roller 1.
