CONSTITUTION:A rotary screw shaft 18 is driven rotatably forward by a motor 20 to advance horizontally a wedge-like lift bed support 7 on a fixed bed 8 through a guide rail 9 and a slide bearing 11. Then, a lift bed 3 held only vertically movably by a lift guide 13 is pushed up through a guide rail 10 and a slide bearing 12. When the rotary screw shaft 18 is driven reversely to horizontally backward move said support 7 on said bed 8, the lift bed 3 is lowered by gravity. Thus, the height of a tool held on the lift bed 3 through a tool driving means 5 can be extremely accurately adjusted to provide high accuracy working.
