Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a floor mat having a malodor preventing effect and a mildew preventing effect by mixing pulverized natural radioactive mineral ore into a porous material such as rubber, synthetic resin or the like which forms the floor mat. CONSTITUTION:For example, fergusonite as the name of ore, is used as natural radioactive ore, and is pulverized and mixed into the material of vinyl resin, and after agitation for mixing, thus mixed material is formed in a predetermined shape so as to obtain a floor mat. Malodor is caused by oxide which is made by bacteria using sweat, urea, lactia acid, fat, protein and the like as nutrition, but when the above-mentioned floor mat is used, ions generated from radioactive ore in the neutralize and decompose the oxide so as to expect a malodor preventing effect. Further gamma rays generated from the radioactive ore restrain the propagation of mildew.
