Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the quality of display by impressing an ageing voltage of which polarity, peak value and duty are selected correspodingly to the threshold voltage of a thin film field effect transistor(TFT). CONSTITUTION: An ageing voltage selecting at least one of polarity, a peak value and duty is selected correspondingly to the threshold voltage of the TFT1 is impressed from a power supply 4 to a node between the gate G and drain D of the TFT1 and the ageing voltage is also impressed in each group of a scanning bus line 2 divided into plural groups. Ageing voltage between groups is selected so as to generate a difference corresponding to the selected polarity, peak value or duty and the impression time of impression repeating frequency of the ageing voltage is selected so as to uniform the threshold voltage of the TFT1 to execute ageing. Thereby the threshold voltage of the TFT1 can be uniformed and required ageing voltage can be obtained between both scanning bus line groups. Consequently, the quality of display can be improved.
