Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable an easy inspection of a welding, by forming a slant surface on an end plug sealing a clad tube opening and welding a contacting surface and the slant surface of the end plug. CONSTITUTION:A slant surface 14 inclining to an axis of a clad tube 10 is formed on an end plug 11 sealing the clad tube 10 opening, and a contact surface 15 closely contacting the slant surface 14 of the end plug 11 is formed at the clad tube 10 opening. Thereafter the slant surface 14 of the end plug 11 is brought into contact with the contacting surface 15 of the clad tube 10 and the contact of the both surfaces is welded. Thereby a supersonic wave can be applied rectangularly to the contact and consequently a ultrasonic inspection of welding can be easily carried out and inspecting time can be substantially saved because an insufficient weld penetration and/or a poor welding appear at this inclined contacting part if they occur.
