Abstract

PURPOSE:To enlarge the loading space of a small-sized vehicle by arranging a pair of right and left power travel parts in the lower section of a flat cargo bed, by arranging an engine on the front part side of a space between both power travel parts, and by providing a standing step at the rear end of the cargo bed. CONSTITUTION:A flat cargo bed 2 is secured on the upper surface of a vehicle body 1 at a lower level. Further, a standing step 3 is provided at the rear end of the cargo bed 2, and a pair of right and left steering bar handles 4 are provided obliquely forward of the standing step 3. Meanwhile a pair to power travel parts 8 each composed of a track belt 5, drive and driven wheels 6, 7 for driving the track belt 5 are arranged on both right and left sides of the vehicle body 1 below the cargo bed 2. Further, an engine 9 is installed on the front part side of a space between both power travel parts 8 so that the power of the engine 9 is transmitted to a steering mechanism 11 through a continuous variable transmission 10, and thereafter is transmitted to drive wheels 6 through a centrifugal clutch 12 and a speed reduction gear train 13. With this arrangement, it is possible to enlarge the loading space of a standing-on type small size vehicle.
