Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the lowering of cooling performance without impairing accelerating performance in the whole operating range by stopping an air conditioner during the heavy loading of an engine, and moreover limiting the stopping of the air conditioner in a speed range on the high speed side of a transmission gear. CONSTITUTION:An operating state detecting means 21 is provided to detect the operating state of an engine, and a controlling means 22 is provided to receive an output from the detecting means 21 to stop an air conditioner 7 during the heavy loading of the engine. On the other hand, a gear shift position detecting means 13 is provided to detect a gear shift position of a transmission gear, and a compensator 23 is provided to receive the output from the detecting means 13 to limit the stopping of the air conditioner 7 carried out by the controlling means 22 in a high speed range side of the transmission gear. Thus the number of times of stopping of the air conditioner 7 is limited more severely in the speed range where the air conditioner 7 is stopped more frequently on the high speed transmission side. The lowering of cooling performance can thereby be prevented without lowering accelerating performance.
