Abstract

PURPOSE:To lessen manpower and to improve efficiency by turnably holding two pieces of pawls which maintain tight contact with the neck part of a sample table and are provided with springs for recovery and shifting the sample table in conformity with the position of the sample table holder of an analysis apparatus. CONSTITUTION:A mechanism 15 for holding the sample table is so constituted that cam levers 25, 25' are driven by a rotating cam 24 coupled to a driving motor 23 to open and close the pawls 22, 22' via pawl holders 26, 26' so as to engage the pawls with flanges 21, 21' of the sample table 7. The pawls 22, 22' are turnably held to holding shafts 30, 30' and the balance thereof is maintained by respectively two pieces each of push springs 31, 31'. The pawls 22, 22' which hold the table 7 turn to correct the mis-alignment of the centers if the centers of the mechanism 15 and the holder 13 do not align in the case of inserting the table 7 to the sample table holder 13. The table 7 is, therefore, surely and easily inserted to the holder 13.
