Abstract
PURPOSE:To cause trimming operation to be unnecessary, while the air staying in between a molding surface and a tire is smoothly discharged by connecting the vent grooves provided on the side wall-surface of protrusions and extending in the peripheral direction of a tire to the split positions of a sector. CONSTITUTION:On the protrusions 3 forming a block groove, vent grooves 5 are provided on the side wall surface in the peripheral direction of a tire, and simultaneously, the vent holes 4 passing through in the peripheral direction of the tire are provided. The vent holes 4 are provided so as to connect the vent grooves 5 mutually. Moreover, at least one of the vent holes 4 and the vent grooves 5 are connected to the split position of sector end parts. When an unvulcanized tire is vulcanization-molded by a tire molding mold of sectional type, the air shut into between the unvulcanized tire and the sector 1 reaches the split portions 1d of the sector 1 through the vent grooves 5 and the vent holes 4. Then the air is discharged outward through the space between the mutually adjacent split portions. The tire vulcanization-molded by this method does not cause such a vulcanization obstacle that the appearance is harmed.
