Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the operation time of the titled public telephone set and to prevent mis-dialing by recording a telephone set on a magenetic recording card, displaying the recorded telephone number, selecting a desired number among the displayed numbers and sending a dial signal automatically. CONSTITUTION:A write circuit writing a telephone number operated by a pushbutton dial 4e and an identification code corresponding to the telephone number on a magnetic recording card 1 inserted to an accommodate section 2, a display section 6 a telephone number recorded on the magnetic recording card 1 and read by the reading circuit 3 or an identification code corresponding to the telephone number, a selection section selecting the content displayed on the display section 6, and a dial signal sending circuit sending the dial signal corresponding to the telephone number selected by the selection section 7 to the line are provided. Thus, a data input to the magnetic recording card has only to be performed by the public telephone set for the first one time and mis- operation of buttons in the public telephone set used frequently and the irritation of the users awaiting its own turn is avoided.
