Abstract

PURPOSE:To exactly detect a coordinate of a human body finger touch point, and to contrive to obtain an efficient picture plane size by forming a pullout electrode on a transparent substrate, and forming only a small metallic electrode which conducts to the pullout electrode, on a transparent resistance film. CONSTITUTION:A transparent resistance film 3 is formed in the center part on the surface of one side of a transparent substrate 2 consisting of glass, etc. Subsequently, metallic electrodes 10 are stuck and provided by connecting both the surfaces of the transparent substrate 2 and the transparent substrate 2 and the transparent resistance film 3, at a roughly equal interval in the periphery of the transparent resistance film 3, and also, so as to form a matrix, and thereafter, on the surface of the transparent substrate 2, an electrode pad 11 is formed at the end parts of the metallic electrodes 10, respectively. Also, on the surface of the transparent resistance film 3, a protective film 5 is formed. Accordingly, a line of electric force in case when a current is allowed to flow in the X axis direction or the Y axis direction passes through a plate separated from the electrode, not disturbed by the electrode, and the coordinate can be detected exactly. Also, on the transparent resistance film for forming a display picture plane, small metallic electrodes are formed, therefore, the transparent resistance film can be effectively utilized as the pattern, and an efficient pattern size is obtained.
