Abstract
PURPOSE:To make a judgment of sealability accurately performable from each pressure detection result after the elapse of the specified time since the movement starting or finishing of a piston in a pump by connecting each pressure gauge to both suction port and discharge port sides of the pump or a test subject. CONSTITUTION:A pipeline 7 provided with a suction side sealing valve 5 and a suction side pressure gauge 3 is connected to a suction port 1 of a pump to be tested, and a pipeline 8 provided with a discharge side sealing valve 6 and a discharge side pressure gauge 4 is connected to a discharge port 2. And, these valves 5, 6 are set to nonexcitation, closed, and each end of these pipelines 7, 8 is made to come into a state of being sealed. In this state, for example, when a piston 14 is displaced upward, a suction valve 11 is opened but a discharge valve 12 is closed, so that air in a pressure reducing chamber A and the pipeline 7 is decompressed. Accordingly, a state variation in negative pressure of the pressure reducing chamber A at the point of time when the specified time has elapsed since a displacement start of the piston 14 is observed through the pressure gauge 3, and whether salability between a cylinder and the piston 14 and of the discharge value 12 is good or not is judged.
