Abstract

PURPOSE:To obviate the generation of a reflection type hologram by the coloration and heat of the hologram by providing a transparent wavelength selective permeable film to the surface of the hologram on the side opposite to the surface facing an observer. CONSTITUTION:The transparent wavelength selective permeable film, for example, an IR shielding film 7 is stuck by an adhesive agent layer 8 to the surface of the reflection type hologram 6 on the side opposite to the surface facing the observer. For example, a film prepd. by vapor deposition of metal such as aluminum or chromium on polyethylene terephthalate is used as this transparent wavelength selective permeable film 7. The characteristic of the spectral transmittance of the film 7 is as shown in the figure. The transmittance is determined to a suitable value by the material to be deposited by evaporation and the thickness thereof, i.e., by the transmittance of a visible light region. The harmful wavelength parts such as IR rays and UV rays of the solar rays are, therefore, cut by using the suitable transparent wavelength selective permeable film. As a result, the deterioration of the hologram by the coloration and heat thereof is obviated.
