PURPOSE: To provide excellent sealing and shrinking characteristics and improve mechanical properties in use under a high temperature by using a polypropylene low-temperature shrinkable tube as the first layer and arranging a polypropylene shrinkable tube on the upper layer. CONSTITUTION: As a first step for applying corrosion preventive coatings to welded joints of plain pipes 12, a polyethylene low-temperature shrinkable tube 16 with adhesives on the inner surface is heated to shrink and coated tightly as the first layer. Then a polypropylene shrinkable tube 18 is laminated on the first layer as the second layer and heated to shrink. In other words, after smuts such as scales outside the copper tube of the welded joint are removed, various shrinkable tubes of the first and second layers fitted beforehand are put on the welded joint in sequence and heated to shrink.
