Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the titled cosmetic, consisting of a specific surfactant, oiling agent, water-soluble salt or organic acid, lower alcohol and water and capable of separating into two layers in a standing state and readily providing a homogeneous emulsion state by shaking and imparting excellent touch to the skin. CONSTITUTION:A multi-layered type liquid cosmetic obtained by blending (A) one or more surfactants selected from alkyl phosphate salts, polyoxyethylene alkyl ether phosphates and polyoxyethylene alkyl ether phosphates with (B) an oiling agent which is a liquid from at ordinary temperature, (C) a water-soluble salt or organic acid, (D) a lower alcohol, preferably ethanol or isopropyl alcohol and (E) water as essential ingredients. The amounts of the respective ingredients based on the total weight of the cosmetic are 0.01-10wt.% ingredient (A), 1-40wt.% ingredient (B), 0.03-10wt.% ingredient (C) and 20-90wt.% ingredient (D). The cosmetic is capable of separating into two layers in a standing state when out of use, readily and homogeneously dispersing to assume a beautiful emulsion state by shaking in use and imparting excellent touch to user's skin.
