中性子源からの未減速の中性子を熱化して照射室
内へ供給すると共に、既に熱化した低速中性子を
照射室内へ保持するための照射室壁と、中性子検
出器とを照射室内に配置した廃棄物中に含まれる
超ウラン元素の検出装置において、前記中性子源
を減速材で覆つたことを特徴とする廃棄物中に含
まれる超ウラン元素の検出装置。 (2) 減速材はポリエチレン、黒鉛、炭素鋼から
なることを特徴とする実用新案登録請求の範囲第
(1)項記載の廃棄物中に含まれる超ウラン元素の
