Cloisonné is made from metal as a base material, and glaze is baked onto its surface to create designs rich in various tones.
It is prized as a work of art with high artistic value, such as badges, accessories, components of tableware, and vases. The so-called pregnant cloisonné, which is accompanied by a metal substrate, is created by arranging silver wire on the surface of the plate to section out the ring of the design, and then glazing each ring in a predetermined color tone to create the whole image. It is roughly divided into wired cloisonné, which makes up the design, and wireless cloisonné, which creates the entire design by applying a glaze that matches the color scheme of each part without creating a ring of line sections. It was a means to obtain one of the following. but,
Although the former type of wired cloisonné produces sharply demarcated circles with contrasting colors, it takes time to attach the silver wire, and even in the finished state, the texture of the glaze is similar to that of the polished metal. The composition has no choice but to show lines, and the latter wireless cloisonné does not have metal lines showing through its texture, but as a result of omitting the lines, the mixed glaze parts are unique. It was difficult to obtain a composition with clear bright colors in between.

The present invention was created in consideration of the current situation,
Although it is wireless cloisonné, it has a distinct ring similar to wired cloisonné, and we have proposed a new cloisonné that uses glaze to create elaborate divisions to form this ring.
At the same time, I would like to disclose the manufacturing method of this cloisonné. And, with the aim of providing a cloisonné work with a richly vivid composition in which the details of the ring are arbitrarily arranged, which is much more delicate than the line width when drawing the lines or divisions that make up the cloisonné design with a brush, etc. Another objective is to provide a means to extremely easily produce cloisonné ware, which is rich in elaborate designs and colors, without using complicated processes or a wide variety of materials.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS Hereinafter, a specific example of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. First, a background glaze 1 is applied to the surface of the metal material shaped into the shape of the desired workpiece, and this background glaze 1 is then formed by layering fine sections 2 and colored areas 3 on this surface. In order to do this, it is preferable that the color tone is light with the layered glaze making it bright, and at the same time, a glaze that is compatible with the metal material is used to maintain a sufficient thickness of the glaze.

Next, fine sections 2 are formed on the surface of the background glaze 1 formed on the required surfaces of the metal material by baking the glaze, for example, as shown in FIG. This fine division 2
Unlike traditional wired cloisonné, which requires skill in crafting and is difficult to express precise details, such as silver wire gluing, it is difficult to create precise details according to an arbitrary composition. A pattern can be formed on the surface of the background glaze 1, and by applying a silk screen process that can use paint containing glaze properties, a glaze that generates black or other predetermined colors is drawn on the surface of the background glaze 1 as thin lines, Next, it is baked at a temperature of about 700°C to form microscopic sections 2.

That is, to give an example of applying the silk screen process to the cloisonné work of the present invention, a coating film is attached to the fine mesh using a photosensitive fixing liquid, and a coating film with light-shielding properties is applied to the surface. If you make a line drawing with the same composition as the fine section to be used, and then expose this side to light and perform the fixing process, the coating liquid will be removed during the fixing process because the above line drawing composition area is not exposed to light, and the line drawing will be fixed. The exposed light-sensitive areas other than the line drawing composition areas are fixed and have a masking effect, so that only the line drawing composition areas can be transmitted through.

Next, the silk screen on which the line drawing-like transparent parts that make up the design are formed is brought into close contact with the surface of the background glaze 1 obtained by glazing the metal material, and the silk screen is placed in close contact with the surface of the background glaze 1 obtained by applying the glaze to the metal material, and the silk screen is placed in the vicinity of the part that makes up the design. If you apply a paint made from a glass powder glaze, that is, glass printing ink, and apply a roller or scrape from above, a line drawing-like composition will be created as a transparent part on the silk screen. The pattern as it is can be copied onto the surface of the background glaze 1. In this case, if the thickness of the line drawing-like transparent part that makes up the pattern formed on the silk screen is too thin, it will be difficult for the glassy powder that is the substance in the paint to pass through the transparent part, and the glaze will form on the bare glaze surface. If the pattern is too thick, the glaze-like paint will penetrate behind the masking part of the silk screen and expand locally, causing disturbances and making it difficult to obtain delicate and precise designs. It's impossible. Therefore, there is a close relationship between the mesh size of the silk screen, the fineness of the vitreous powder that is the constituent glaze of the paint applied to the transparent area, and the thickness of the line drawing made of the light-shielding paint that forms the constituent sections. In order to make the composition section by copying the desired thickness,
Lines with light-shielding paint should be drawn at a thickness of about 0.1 to 0.2 mm, and if the glaze in the paint for copying the composition after photosensitive fixation is about 50 to 149 microns, clear and precise fine divisions will be created after baking. It is advantageous to be able to form

Once the design of the glaze-based paint has been copied onto the surface of the background glaze 1 in this way, it is placed in a suitable heating furnace such as a Matsufuru furnace and heated at about 700°C for 3 to 30 minutes as described above. By baking for 4 minutes, fine sections 2 can be formed on the background glaze 1 as shown in FIG.

The fine divisions 2 thus obtained become delicate ridges on the surface of the base glaze 1, and serve as partitions when colored glazes are applied in the subsequent process, and are further baked as shown in Figure 3. When the colored part 3 is created, it can be used as a clear dividing line to make the overall composition stand out and beautiful. If the firing temperature is set close to the melting temperature of the background glaze, the fine sections 2 will be obtained as grooves that are at the same level as the surface level of the background glaze 2 or slightly lower than that, and in this state, colored glazes are applied to each section. When the colored glazes are formed into colored parts 3, the molten colored glazes generate surface tension in the fine divisions of the concave stripes, and the molten colored glazes in each ring are mutually intertwined without mixing and crossing, with the fine divisions 2 as boundaries. Another advantage of the present invention is that it is possible to obtain the colored part 3 in a clear vision state very close to the color, and that the fine division 2 can be made almost inconspicuous, creating a different atmosphere. be.

Whether the micro-divisions 2 are formed into delicate ridges or slightly sunken grooves, a desired colored glaze is applied within the compositional circle formed by these micro-divisions 2, and the micro-divisions are By baking at approximately 750°C for 3 to 4 minutes using the same heating means as used to form part 2, each part clearly divided by fine parts 2 and the blurred parts that are not divided, as shown in Fig. 3. It is possible to form a colored portion 3 having both of the above, and to obtain an elaborate and elegant cloisonné ornament 10.
Then, all that is left to do is to take measures such as lining it, attaching a fixing pin or a hanging ring, etc.

The cloisonné of the present invention, in which minute divisions are formed using silk screen or the like to express a delicate composition in a variety of colors, and its manufacturing method are not limited to small or flat objects, but can also be used to create three-dimensional objects with curved surfaces. It is possible to easily apply the method to a typical molded object by closely applying the silk screen, and it is possible to obtain cloisonné crafts of all shapes and types.

Although it is a wireless cloisonné, the gradation is clear and rich in color, and compared to wired cloisonné, it has an extremely detailed composition and rich taste. This is to develop a new field of crafts that is not bound by the concept of cloisonne work, and according to the purpose of the present invention, this technical idea is not limited to the above embodiments, but can be derived from them. It goes without saying that all such applications, diversions, etc., are included within the technical scope of the present invention.
