Abstract

PURPOSE: To avoid leaving a non-PC-paved part by installing a block with an inserted tensioner fixed at one end with a specified gap from an existing board and moving the block to the existing board after casting hardening a cast-in-place concrete. CONSTITUTION: A first concrete block 1 with a PC steel 3 secured in an insert hole 1a is installed with a specified gap C1 from the end face 4a of an existing board 4. A second concrete block 2 is installed with a gap C2 corresponding to the length of a jack 6 from the first block 1. Concrete 5 is cast along the extension of the existing board 4, with leaving the gaps C1 , C2 . The jack 6 settled in the gap C2 is actuated to move the first block 1 to the gap C1 , thereby tensioning the PC steel 3 and concrete is cast in the gap C2 . Thus a PC board with little joints and tough against damage can be constructed.
