Abstract
PURPOSE: To pump water up to a desired paddy by forming a wind wheel part on the upper portion of a vertical shaft through fixation of blade pieces for receiving wind force, and providing a doughnut-type water receiving trough around a water feed impeller.
CONSTITUTION: A water pump conduit is formed in such a manner that a water feed impeller 5 shaped L in its cross-section in wound in a spiral form on the lower portion of a vertical shaft 6. A wind wheel part 8 is also formed on the upper portion of the vertical shaft 6 through fixation to blade pieces 7 for receiving wind force. And a doughnut-type water receiving trough 10 is provided around a water feed impeller 5. A water discharging part 5b opened on the upper end of the water feed impeller 5 is arranged to face the water receiving trough 10 and a water intake portion 5a opened to the lower end of the water feed impeller 5 is disposed in water in a paddy on the lower land side. In this manner, the water pumping to the paddy on the high land side can be performed certainly.
