Abstract
PURPOSE:To efficiently and accurately test the display function by reading display data through a turn-back adapter and comparing display data with a test pattern by a CPU. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 2 sends the test pattern to a display control part 3-1 in accordance with the test program stored on a floppy disk 1. The test pattern is converted to analog data by a D/A converter 3-11 in the control part 3-1 and is displayed on the screen of a CRT 3-2 as display data. Simultaneously, the control part 3-1 sends display data to a turn-back adapter 3-3, and a control circuit 3-32 is operated by a synchronizing signal synchronized with the time, when the test pattern is displayed on the screen by the control part 3-1, to store display data in a memory 3-33. The CPU 2 reads display data stored in the memory 3-33 through a bus 4, and this data is compared with an expected value preliminarily stored on the disk 1 by a comparing circuit 2-1, and a display device is judged to pass the function test if they coincide with each other.
