Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a marker (marking body) excellent in searching accuracy without the possibility of positional shift, by receiving a searching signal responding means in a synthetic resin pipe formed into an almost U-shape and hermetically closing both end parts of said pipe. CONSTITUTION:A searching signal responding means 2 is received in a synthetic resin pipe 1 formed into an almost U-shape and both end parts of the synthetic resin pipe 1 are sealed by a thermal press bonding means to hermetically seal the searching signal responding means in the synthetic resin pipe 1. For example, the searching signal responding means 2 is constituted of a quartz resonance circuit wherein a coil 201, a capacitor 202 and a quartz vibrator 203 are connected in parallel. Then, the searching marker is allowed to straddle an embedded object and, since the leading ends 101, 101 of both leg parts 103, 103 can be fixed to the bed soil having the embedded object laid therein in an inserted state, the positional shift of the marker is not generated over a long period of time and the searching accuracy of the embedded object becomes high.
