Abstract

PURPOSE:To always obtain a constant searching level even when a marker changes into any posture, by arranging three loop coils of a marker (marking body) so that the respective loop surfaces cross each other at a right angle. CONSTITUTION:The coil 1 of a marker is constituted by arranging three loop coils 11-13 having the same diameter and the same number of windings so that the loop surfaces thereof cross each other at a right angle. For example, these loop coils 11-13 are connected in series, and a quartz vibrator 2 and a capacitor 3 are connected thereto in parallel to form a parallel resonance circuit which in turn constitutes the searching signal responding means of the marker. By this constitution, even when the coil 1 of the marker is placed in any direction with respect to a searching coil 4, there is no change in the crossing total flux received from the searching coil 4. Therefore, the giving and receiving of a signal can be always performed between the marker and the searching coil 4 at the same level regardless of the laying posture of the marker or even when the laying posture changes after embedding.
