押えカバーの原稿側に、赤外線を受光すると発光
する蛍光部材を原稿のサイズに対応した位置に設
けるとともに、原稿載置台ガラスの下側に上記蛍
光部材を赤外線によつて照明する発光素子と、蛍
光部材からの光を受光する受光素子とを設けたこ
