Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify and facilitate formation of a circular air curtain, by a method wherein an air discharge pipe is positioned facing the wall surface of a base frame, air is fed along a wall surface, and suction of air causes the generation of a vertical spout in the base frame. CONSTITUTION:An artificial spout generating body 1 is formed by a square base frame 2 and two elongated air discharge pipes 4, and a circular wall surface 3 is formed in the base frame 2. A plurality of air discharge ports are longitudinally bored in the pipe, and the air discharge pipe 4 to form an air curtain is situated in a position on the diagonal line of the inner wall surface of the base frame 2. When air is discharged through the air discharge port 5, an air curtain A is formed in the base frame 2 along an inner wall surface, and a vortex is generated in the base frame 2.
