Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition which can give a molding excellent in discoloration resistance and retentivity of mechanical properties after irradiation, by mixing a propylene polymer with a hindered amine compound and a phosphite compound. CONSTITUTION:The title composition is prepared by mixing 100pts.wt. propylene polymer with a hindered amine compound (A) {e.g., poly[[6-[(1,1,3,3- tetramethylbutyl)amino]-1, 3, 5-triazine-2, 4-diyl][(2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-4-piperidyl) imino]hexamethylene[(2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-4-piperidyl)imino]]}and a phosphite compound (B) of the formula (wherein R1 and R2 are each H or a 1-8C alkyl, R3 is an alkyl, an arylalkyl, an aryl or an alkylaryl, and n is 0-6) each in an amount of 0.01-1pt.wt.
