Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a simplified document supplier with the good circulative conveyance further with no necessity for an inverting mechanism by providing a circulative feed mechanism which feeds a document sheet by sheet, conveyed in a tile heap condition, to an exposure part. CONSTITUTION:In the document supply direction from a document supply part 5, providing a contact glass 7 serving as the exposure part, its upper part forms a document circulating part 8 for circulatively conveying a document 1. When an empty feed process is finished, a document group in a tile heap condition is conveyed being left as placed in the tile heap condition by a conveying belt 27 or the like. When the point end of the document 1 in the first sheet positioned in the topmost is detected by a sensor 30, tile heap rollers 21, feed rollers 26 and the conveying belt 27 are stopped after the predetermined time. Here the topmost document 1 is placed in a condition that its point end bites into between feed rollers 31. After the predetermined time, the circulative feed roller 31 starts rotation, feeding the document 1 to the side of a resist roller 9. This resist roller 9 feeds the document 1 by the predetermined timing to the side of the contact glass 7.
