Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a concrete release agent having good stability almost generating no precipitation even during storage at temp. almost equal to room temp. and easily re-dissolved by heating even if precipitation is generated, in a concrete release agent composed of a mineral oil type solvent having cobalt soap compounded therewith, by further compounding a specific imidazoline compound. CONSTITUTION:A concrete release agent is prepared by further compounding an imidazoline compound represented by general formula (wherein R is a 7-19C alkyl group) to a composition wherein cobalt soap is added to and mixed with a mineral oil type solvent. In the imidazoline compound, one whose alkyl group shown by R has 6 or less carbon atoms is difficult to synthesize and, when the number of carbon atoms of the alkyl group exceed 19, it is not pref. because the dissolving stability of the release agent to mineral oil is lowered. The imidazoline compound is used alone or in a mixed form of two or more kinds of ones. The compounding ratio of the imidazoline compound may be 0.1-0.5wt.% when 0.1-1wt.% soap is contained and 0.4-1wt.% when 1-3wt.% soap is contained.
