Abstract

PURPOSE: To effectively prevent the spread of a fire by arranging a shutter along the outer wall of a building in such a manner as to be vertically movable toward the opening part of an optional floor, and, if a fire would start in the building, moving the shutter to the opening part of the origin of the fire. CONSTITUTION: A winch 2 is operated to optionally move a shutter 4 in the vertical direction.
